Booking
Popular restaurants fill up on Friday and Saturday evenings. Book several days ahead, or choose an early or late seating. Many restaurants open tables 2 to 4 weeks out, so check their own website.
Tipping
Tipping is customary in the USA. For table service, 18 to 22 percent of the pre-tax bill is common. Check for an included service charge before adding more.
Ordering well
- Ask what the kitchen is proudest of tonight.
- Share a few starters and a dessert.
- Mention allergies before ordering.
